Akash Network is a decentralised GPU compute marketplace: independent providers offer compute and GPU resources, and deployments are run as Docker containers via the Akash Console web interface or the Console API.
GPUs and prices. The public GPU pricing page lists models from consumer cards (RTX 3090, RTX 4090, RTX 5090) through data-centre GPUs (A10g, V100, A100, H100, RTX Pro 6000) up to B200 and B300, in PCIe and SXM variants. Prices are quoted per GPU-hour and float with provider bids; at the last snapshot the cheapest listed GPU-hour was 0.04 USD, an H100 80 GB SXM5 started at 2.73 USD, an A100 80 GB SXM4 at 1.67 USD and an RTX 4090 at 0.36 USD. The pricing page does not state vCPU, RAM or storage per offer; these depend on the provider. Multi-node clusters with GPU-to-GPU interconnect are offered for distributed training, and Akash states there are no egress fees.
Payment. Deployments are funded with ACT, a USD-pegged compute credit obtained by burning AKT or by credit card in Console. Payments currently run on Akash's own Cosmos chain (akashnet-2); Akash has proposed moving the marketplace to Solana, with no cutover date set yet.
Sign-up. A free trial is available in Console without a card. Alternatively, users can connect their own wallet; the documentation describes this path as "No KYC, permissionless".
