USD.AI, the platform that finances the Compute Middle Market, announced on 29 October 2026 that it led and closed a $106 million senior secured term loan for NexGen Cloud, a European AI cloud provider. The four-year facility finances 216 NVIDIA HGX B300 servers, 1,728 GPUs in total, at a Tier III data center in Finland.
Key points from the announcement:
- The escrow funding is aligned with shipment of the servers, which the release expects in Q4 2026.
- The capacity is fully contracted under a take-or-pay agreement with a leading AI inference platform, and the loan amortizes over the same term.
- Silver Point Capital and Victory Park Capital joined as lenders alongside USD.AI.
- The deal runs through USD.AI's GPU Loan Exchange (GLX), which launched on 1 October 2026 and connects standardised, serviced GPU-backed loans with institutional capital.
- It is NexGen Cloud's second facility with USD.AI, after a $34 million facility for a NVIDIA B200 deployment in Sweden announced in June 2026.
For buyers of GPU capacity, the deal shows that take-or-pay contracts with inference customers are what lenders now finance for neoclouds below the hyperscaler tier. USD.AI says it has originated more than $500 million of GPU financing this year, with more than $200 million of that gone through GLX.
